Small family-run factories in Colombia have been quietly making beautiful quality leather goods for decades. For most of their existence, they marketed their products through local shops throughout the country. We were so impressed with this leather shop started by three sisters and employing around 20 very happy workers. We know that the best way to spread the prosperity even further is to open up their creations to a much larger audience, you. This is the first time they will be exporting to the United States. One of the employees we talked to, Amparo, was excited because she just recently paid off her mortgage after working in the factory for nearly 20 years. She is happy that now she can devote an even greater share of her earnings to savings for her two children. We couldn't be happier to help her.
