What makes it fair?
Sandy Martin is the founder and president of Green 3 Apparel located nearby in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Growing up on a farm and later working in the apparel industry traveling all over the world, Sandy came to know firsthand the effects of the industry on farmers, workers, communities, and the environment. Rather than continue to watch, Sandy and her husband Jim, a fellow apparel industry veteran set out on a course to create a cleaner more humane way of doing business.Green 3 knits are made using organic cotton, cut and sewn at a facility in North Carolina, and screen printed also in North Carolina at a facility powered by wind and solar energy.
