The garments are sewn in a factory supporting over 350 local jobs. And the contrast sleeves? They re-use excess fabric that would otherwise be scrapped.

What makes it fair?

Sandy Martin is the founder and president of Green 3 Apparel located nearby in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Growing up on a farm and later working in the apparel industry traveling all over the world, Sandy came to know firsthand the effects of the industry on farmers, workers, communities, and the environment. Rather than continue to watch, Sandy and her husband Jim, a fellow apparel industry veteran set out on a course to create a cleaner more humane way of doing business.

Green 3 knits are made using organic cotton, cut and sewn at a facility in North Carolina, supporting over 300 US jobs. Much of the finishing work is done in Green 3's workshop in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
