Turning used-up into useful (and stylish!).

While medieval alchemists sought to turn lead into gold, the US company that makes these goods strives to turn useless stuff like blown-out bicycle inner tubes into useful stuff like bags and wallets. All materials are sorted, cut, cleaned and prepped in their shop in Seattle, Washington and all bags are assembled at a sewing shop in their neighborhood. And as for the little number stitched into their logo — it's the percent by weight of upcycled material that goes into each product.
