Change the World – One Pair of Jeans at a Time

Need a reason to get rid of that old pair of jeans that you're keeping around " just in case?" Instead of filling up a landfill, turn them into something far more useful: sustainable and eco-friendly housing insulation! Our goal is to collect 500 pairs of jeans by October 31st of this year – enough insulation for a Habitat for Humanity home (help us spread the word!)

How do you participate? Pretty simple:
Gather any jeans you wish to donate (they don't have to be ours) and mail them to us by October 31st.

TIP: USPS flat-rate boxes are usually the cheapest option and you can split the cost of shipping by getting your friends involved.

Fair Indigo is proud to partner with Cotton Incorporated for their annual COTTON. FROM BLUE TO GREEN.® denim drive. Once collected, the donated jeans are converted into UltraTouch™ Natural Cotton Fiber Insulation – an eco-friendly home insulation product manufactured by Bonded Logic, Inc. The insulation is then donated to communities in need to assist in their building efforts.

Since its inception in 2006 the COTTON. FROM BLUE TO GREEN.® denim drive has generated over 100,000 square feet of eco-friendly UltraTouch™ insulation and it has been installed in over 100 new homes in the gulf coast region through Habitat for Humanity!
