Fair Indigo Premium FabricsThere's probably no better fabric on earth to use in pajamas than our organic interlock fabric. Being all-cotton it's uber soft and breathable. And being interlock, it stretches and retains shape beautifully without spandex. This is called mechanical stretch – achieved by the structure of the knitted yarns themselves. It’s also washed before the garment is cut and sewn, an uncommon but very worthwhile process. It not only ensures your shorts won’t shrink, but also prevents puckering and twisting around seams that often happens in your dryer when fabric shrinks but threads don’t. How does it do good? Our non-GMO organic cotton is grown on a family-owned farm in the climactically perfect Ica region of Peru. It’s then milled and knit in GOTS certified mills that are leaders in earth-friendly practices. Our dyes are Oeko-tex certified - gentle on the earth, farmers, garment workers, and you. The shorts are meticulously fashioned in a small fair trade workshop where employees are paid fairly and treated, like family, with dignity and respect.
