ORGANIC COTTON CERTIFICATION / GOTS CERTIFIED YARNS
Fair Indigo's organic cotton is grown on two family farms in the Pisco and Chiclayo regions of Peru. These farms are owned and operated by the same family that owns and manages our fair trade workshop in Lima and are certified organic by a handful of globally respected organizations. The yarns produced from the cotton are GOTS-certified.
SAFE DYES CERTIFICATION
Fair Indigo's uses only the safest commercially available dyes in the market, certified by organizations like Oek-tex. The certification process includes thorough testing on over 100 harmful chemicals including lead, arsenic, formaldehyde, azo-dyes, and heavy metals that are harmful to people and the environment.

Easy to throw away. Better to thow on.
At Fair Indigo, we're passionate about what your clothing is made from. Because this is the baseline that determines how it will perform for you, how long it will last, and how good it is for the planet. We only launch a product when we can hit all three cylinders. It's why we partner directly with Peruvian organic Pima cotton farmers. And it's why we're involved in this innovative project to take plastic bottles out of the waste pipeline, including a special program to remove plastic waste from the oceans. Learn More
All of our dyes are certified to the most stringent Oeko-tex 100 standard. They're tested for literally hundreds of dangerous substances like Azo colorants, formaldehyde, pentachlorophenol, cadmium, and nickel. Our dyes exceed the US Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) and the European Chemical Regulation (REACh).

You've probably heard the expression 'less is more.' At Fair Indigo, we're inspired by the idea striving for LESS. A saner wardrobe that makes use of timeless 'forever in fashion' pieces you'll go back to time and again. That's why we build in quality - from the material and dyes we select to the extra processes we implement to create a garment you'll love for years. Buy better, buy less, live fully.
Like all Fair Indigo clothing, our recycled activewear is made in facilities that pay workers living wages and treat them fairly and with dignity. Our partner workshop in Medellin, Colombia knows that sustainable doesn't stop with caring for the earth. It means caring for its people too.
