- Nice jacket
Read the reviews and ordered anyway. I love this jacket. The sizing does run small. I normally wear an xs and ordered a small. Fits beautifully other than what another reviewer noted about being tight where the fastener is, why I gave it 4 stars. Great fabric
- Love the jacket, but a couple things...
I love the design of this jacket, it's very unique, the blue is a great, muted color, and it is comfortable and a nice jersey material weight (like a fine quality sweatshirt.) The fit is nice overall, and happily the arms are long enough for my long arms, but a couple notes. Like the picture indicates, there is only one small, metal clasp across the front. It is placed right across the chest - so at the absolute widest part of the jacket. Unlike the petite model, this stretches the jacket fairly tight on me. Because of the stretchy jersey material and tautness at the clasp, the material stretches out and looks bad if the clasp is used, so I'm either going to wear it only open, or find a different method to clasp, and maybe have clasps all along the front. The other item of note regards quality - I wore this for the first time yesterday, and at the end of the day one of the buttons fell completely off. The decorative-only buttons that had no stress put on them. If I'd lost the button while out and about, it would have rendered the jacket useless because an extra button is not provided. Perhaps Fair Indigo might send me one(?) and include a backup with all other jackets? Especially since it is critical that the buttons be matching. I am going to reinforce all 8 buttons with my own sewing before wearing it again.
