Fair Indigo Premium FabricsPeruvian Pima cotton is among the softest yet strongest on earth – your skirt will endure beautifully for years with minimal pilling or shrinking. Our organic French Terry fabric is washed before the garment is sewn, an uncommon but very beneficial process. It not only insures your skirt won’t shrink, but also prevents twisting and puckering around seams that often happens in your dryer when fabric shrinks but threads don’t. How does it do good? Our non-GMO organic cotton is grown on a small family farm in the climactically perfect Ica region of Peru. It’s then milled and knit in GOTS certified mills that are leaders in water recycling. Our dyes are Oeko-tex certified - gentle on the earth, farmers, garment workers, and you. The skirts are meticulously fashioned in a small fair trade workshop where employees are paid fairly and treated, like family, with dignity and respect.

weird fit/cut...I ordered a Small (XS is exactly my waist size, but i was worried it would be a tad too tight like the Ruffle Skirt was). This skirt fit around the waist comfortably, but had a funky length and an unflattering a-shape sack shape to it. If you're hesitant, I highly recommend busting out your measuring tape and looking at the listed waist, hip, and length measurements to get an exact idea of how this may look on you. Good luck!
- Stylish design, problem in quality?
It's a nice classic design but doesn't fit quite right. It's loose on me to the point where it doesn't stay on my waist, but simultaneously the buttons look like they're being tugged on, like the skirt is about to burst off of me. Even when it's on the hanger, it looks that way -- sort of puckery or misaligned. I think the buttons were sewn slightly off or the fabric was stretched in a weird way during sewing.
I was initially in denial so I didn't return the skirt. Over the last few months, I've tried drying the skirt both flat and on various hangers, and I've also tried ironing it into proper shape with no luck. I ultimately stitched the problem area but the skirt still puckers so it doesn't look as classy as I'd hoped.
