  • 100% organic Tanguis cotton yarns
  • Oeko-tex certified earth- and baby-safe dyes
  • Generously sized for baby to grow into
  • Machine wash
  • Fairly hand knit in small Peruvian cooperatives
Fair Indigo Premium Materials
While we choose organic Peruvian Pima cotton for most of our clothing, the ideal cotton for sweaters is Pima’s close cousin - Tanguis. Because sweaters employ a looser and different type of knit than fabric garments, the slightly thicker fibers of Tanguis cotton are ideal for fashioning incredibly soft but strong and long-lasting baby sweaters.

How does it do good?
Our organic cotton is grown without GMO's on a small family-owned farm in the climactically perfect Ica region of Peru. The dyes are Oeko-tex certified - gentle on the earth, farmers, knitters, and baby. The organic baby sweaters are meticulously knit in small, worker-owned cooperatives throughout Peru, providing steady income and a better life for some of Peru's poorest citizens.

To ensure you get the best fit for your body type and fit preference, use the charts below. For best results, measure over undergarments at fullest part of your bust, at the natural bend in your waist (usually an inch or two above your belly button), and at the fullest part of your hip.
