Stretch without spandex

Our signature ALL-COTTON INTERLOCK Serena fabric is more substantial than our Eterna or Pura fabrics. Its ingenuity is its ability to stretch without spandex. This is called mechanical stretch, achieved by the meticulously designed structure of the yarns. The fabric is washed before it's cut and sewn, an uncommon but very beneficial step. It not only ensures your dress won't shrink, but also prevents puckering and twisting around seams that often happens in your dryer when sewing threads shrink but fabric doesn't. True investment-quality fabric! See all Serena

Kinder to your skin and the planet

Why will your organic Pima cotton maxi dress feel luxuriously soft right out of the bag and endure beautifully for years? Because we use the top 0.005% (not a typo) of cotton available. Softness is only half the story. Pima cotton is also stronger so your dress will hold up beautifully season after season. Ours is grown on two family farms and harvested by hand. It's simply the best cotton you'll find anywhere on the planet. Learn More

Eco-Friendly dyes

All of our dyes are certified to the most stringent safety standards such as the Oeko-tex 100 standard. They're tested for literally hundreds dangerous substances like Azo colorants, formaldehyde, pentachlorophenol, cadmium, and nickel. Our dyes meet or exceed the US Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) regarding lead and the European Chemical Regulation (REACh).

Made with care

You've probably heard the expression 'less is more.' At Fair Indigo, we're inspired by the idea striving for LESS. A saner wardrobe that makes use of timeless 'forever in fashion' pieces you'll go back to time and again. That's why we build in quality - from the cotton and dyes we select to the extra processes we implement to create a garment you'll love for years. Buy better, buy less, live fully. Learn More

Transform your wardrobe

Often when apparel brands talk about sustainability, they are talking about making clothing that respects the environment and its limited resources - something to be applauded for sure. But at Fair Indigo, it also means sustainable lives for the world's garment workers. And a sustainable business model that prices clothing fairly, not too-good-to-be-true low (a signal the people were left out of the equation) nor artificially high to promote a future 70% off sale. It's time to move beyond fast fashion. For good. Learn More

Transforming lives

In addition to living wage jobs, we believe the key to transforming communities from poverty to prosperity is education. The Fair Indigo Foundation funds teachers' salaries, books, building improvements, and computer labs for children who otherwise were being left behind. And it's so easy to make a big difference - just check the $5 donation box at checkout. Your $5 donations have literally transformed the lives of children, their families, and their community.
