This garment's fabric: Pura

Pura is a smooth and dreamy soft all-cotton jersey. It's slightly lighter than our best-selling Eterna fabric, but by no means tissue-weight. The organic fabric is also washed before the clothing is cut and sewn, a rare but very beneficial step in the production process. It not only insures your clothes won't shrink, but also prevents puckering and twisting around seams that often happens in your dryer when the fabric shrinks but the threads used to sew the garment don't to the same degree.

Organic Pima Cotton: the best on earth

Why will your organic cotton clothing feel otherworldly soft right out of the bag and endure beautifully for years? Because we use the top 0.05% (not a typo) of cotton available. Softest and strongest aren't often used to describe a single fiber. Except when it's organic Peruvian Pima cotton. Ours is grown on two family farms and harvested with care by hand. Simply the best cotton you'll find anywhere on the planet.

All of our dyes are certified to the most stringent safety standards such as the Oeko-tex 100 standard. They're tested for literally hundreds of dangerous substances like Azo colorants, formaldehyde, pentachlorophenol, cadmium, and nickel. Our dyes meet or exceed the US Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) regarding lead and the European Chemical Regulation (REACh).

"I really love the concept of this shirt. It’s comfortable, slightly stretchy and polished but casual. The fabric is lightweight and easy to layer. I would like it in more colors. I feel that the fit is a bit small on the xl. I have tried a 2xl and that was way bigger compared to the xl. I feel the xl needs to be at least a bit wider all the way down. The arms could also be a bit larger. I am 5’9” and wear between a large and xl on top. I have an athletic build but do not consider myself to be an overly large person."

"Got a few of these from Fair Indigo in XS after getting this short sleeve button down in XS in slate made by Fair Indigo, but on amazon. All great colors! I'd love it if this short sleeve one came in other colors, particularly white and other light colors! I'm 5'2", 110lbs. I got the long sleeve button down in XS, too, from amazon, and returned it because it wasn't really XS. It was too wide and long. The XS in the short sleeve one is good for me. Not too wide or long, but I'm sure I could tuck it in if needed."

"This is a go-to item for me. In the past I have not been a fan of button downs bc often they just don't fit me well, being all hips and chest and very short waisted. But this shirt looks great and is so comfortable for running around with clients showing properties. I regret only buying it in one color and when they bring more short sleeve ones back for summer, I hope for a wide color collection so I can buy a few. And you just cannot shrink Fair Indigo items!"
