This garment's fabric: Luxe

Our signature all-cotton interlock Luxe is incredibly soft & silky. but its ingenuity is its ability to stretch without spandex. This is called mechanical stretch, achieved by the meticulously designed structure of the yarns. The fabric is washed before it's cut and sewn, an uncommon but very beneficial step. It minimizes shrinking over time (when following care instructions) and also prevents puckering and twisting around seams that often happens in your dryer when sewing threads shrink but fabric doesn't. Luxe fabric is used on many of our dresses, our all-cotton leggings, and in our most luxurious t-shirts. True investment-quality fabric!

"I absolutely love this dress. It's a perfect A-line that hugs at the top and leaves plenty of space for hips and thighs. I'm 5'2" and 150 lbs, and after reading other reviews, I wasn't sure what size to order. Although I wear a medium in another Fair Indigo dress, I ended up ordering a small in this dress, and am soooo glad I did. The medium would have definitely been too big, but because of the A-line style, the small fits me perfectly in the shoulders and bust without being too tight. The length comes down to my knees (what I wanted). The fabric is soft and breathable and looks and feels very high quality. I wish I had one in every color!!"

Almost perfect for me!!

"The material, color (purple), and upper body bodice/empire waist all really work for me! I would be happier with the skirt part of the dress being shorter and less A-line, more tapered, but I’m also thin in the hips and legs with a little pot belly, so showing my hips and mid-thigh can be a bit more slimming of a shape. I tried the French Terry in Black, but it didn’t quite work for me either, not short enough. I’ll keep an eye on Fair Indigo’s options to come - really glad I rolled the dice with this company."
